The reluctant glamper will love Wheal Amelia, a cosy retreat with all the comforts of home that brings you closer to nature. Set in the surrounds of the Wheal Dream Resort, Wheal Amelia is a sanctuary of peace where guests can take it easy or get stuck into the activities that the resort offers. From rugby golf to a traditional 9 hole golf course with some foot golf thrown in, there is so much on your doorstep to help you have a memorable stay. The on-site restaurant and bar offer fantastic food and a great atmosphere, make sure you book in advance though to avoid disappointment. The lodge has large patio doors which help keep it bright and airy, and its inviting open-plan living area gives you plenty of space to enjoy your stay. There is a comfy double bed and a bunk room which offer a good nights sleep after a day of doing what ever takes our fancy.

Wheal Dream Resort is on the edge Helston, a traditional yet vibrant market town with a rich history. It's also close to the harbour town of Porthleven which offers that perfect Cornish vista you expect from a stay in Cornwall. With Praa Sands Beach and St Michael's Mount a short drive away you will be spoilt for choice for days out and things to do.
