The relaxed 9-hole, par-3 pitch and putt golf course, fully equipped and open to all skill levels—clubs are available for hire. Elsewhere on site is the quirky and energetic 18-hole Football Golf course, perfect for kicking around while enjoying the sweeping views. With Wheal Dream Helston’s owner Neil being a retired professional rugby player it is no surprise that a distinctive Rugby Golf course was introduced to the site a few years ago with much success.
Families with children will appreciate the brilliant on-site play area—an ideal spot for little adventurers to explore and with the lodges also being pet-friendly, your four-legged friends can share in the fun too.
The options continue offsite too, the local surroundings beckon. A short drive away is Porthleven, a traditional harbour town renowned for its gourmet eateries and cosy pubs like the Harbour Inn, ideal for an indulgent evening out.
Cornwall’s scenic trails and coastal paths are perfect for breezy walks and beach outings with family or dogs. The scenery is spectacular and the world famous South West Coast Path is a must visit.
